Cake Care/Transporting Instructions

Damages can occur to your cake if not cared for properly.  Once the cake has left my possession, Tina R Cake Lady,LLC is not responsible for any damages.
1. If you choose to pick up your cake, make sure that you have a clean flat surface to set cake on while driving.  Vans, SUV's, and any vehicle that the back seat folds in so the air conditioning can make it to the trunk are the best for traveling.  Keep cake level and flat (car floors works best). Laps are not recommended and should be avoided.
2. Drive cautiously.  If possible, avoid bumpy roads, potholes, sudden stops and quick turns.  Excessive jarring during transport could damage the finished product to an unstable and undesirable state.  Decorations can fall off and icings, fillings, etc may not hold up if these driving instructions are not followed.
3. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.  Do not keep cake in a hot car (cake can and will melt, air conditioning is recommended).
4. Be cautious of loose items that may damage the cake. Do not let anything touch the sides of the cake.
5. Always carry the cake with both hands at the bottom base.  Do not carry by the sides.
6. After cake has left my possession, I will not be responsible if instructions were not followed.
